The Wilderness Initiative is a donor-supported, charitable arm of MissionEDIFY.com operating under the fiscal sponsorship of Women’s Non-profit Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, located in Plano, TX.
Mission Statement
In the interest of spiritual and mental health, we impart trauma-informed, Bible-based curriculum that is survivor-centered in its approach, solution oriented, and sensitive to religious wounding.

A grassroots approach to Christian discipleship that restores human dignity and thwarts generational cycles of abuse.
Ongoing empirical research is utilized to respond to the expressed emotional and spiritual needs of adults suffering the effects of trauma. 2026 Pilot Program
Curriculum is vetted by a super cool Spiritual Director who completed his doctorate in Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome.
