The Wilderness Initiative is a donor-supported, charitable arm of MissionEDIFY.com operating under the fiscal sponsorship of Women’s Non-profit Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, located in Plano, TX.

Mission Statement
In the interest of spiritual and mental health, we impart trauma-informed, Bible-based curriculum that is survivor-centered in its approach, solution oriented, and sensitive to religious wounding.

What Sets Us Apart
A grassroots approach to Christian discipleship that restores human dignity and thwarts generational cycles of abuse.

• Ongoing empirical research is utilized to respond to the expressed emotional and spiritual needs of adults suffering the effects of trauma. 2026 Pilot Program

• Curriculum is vetted by a super cool Spiritual Director who completed his doctorate in Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome.

• Discussion questions are written in collaboration with licensed counselors.
