Meet the Chief
Everything I create is inspired by the worst and best of personal experience, rooted in love for Christ—my Gentle Healer, and shaped by the expressed needs of abuse survivors, who leaned in when I took the time to ask with a great deal of care.

yet they have not prevailed against me.”

A Mission in The Making
In 2007, I attended a class on the topic of forgiveness. A Protestant Christian at the time, I volunteered for a ministry called Freedom Ministries. The class facilitator, one of many pastor’s on staff at the time, opened with a question that ignited my passion to create a trauma-informed approach to forgiveness.
In a room filled with seventy five+ folks, the pastor asked, “Who is here for the first time?”
Multiple hands raised to signify, “I am!”
“Who is here for the second time?” Again, hands were raised in recognition.
With visible delight, the pastor was compelled to ask, “Has anyone attended this class more than twice?”
At the conclusion of this survey the '“winner” was in attendance for the fifth time. Everyone clapped but me. I couldn’t help but wonder:What are these folks listening for on the topic of forgiveness that they have yet to hear?
